Ideas For Unique Marketing Giveaways

By Joshua Snyder

Everyone loves free stuff, no doubt, which is why brands often give a lot of freebies during a promotion or during an event to draw in more people to participate. However, if the gifts are all the same and a little bit to generic, no one is going to want to go for them anymore, even if they are free. This is why brands have to think of unique marketing giveaways that they can use to entice people in.

Sure, umbrellas are pretty common freebies that most brands would give away during a promo or event. However, not many people have heard about the reverse umbrella, which is something that is pretty unique. All one has to do is to imprint the brand logo somewhere at the top of the reverse umbrella and give it away to participants.

Fidget spinners are all the rage these days because they give people some sort of outlet. That said, it can actually be used as a free gift by brands who want to attract customers to their events or promotions. One just has to stick the brand name to the fidget spinner and he can start giving it away.

As companies are a bit hesitant to give power banks because of the high cost that usually comes with power banks, power banks are actually quite good gifts. Also, a lot of them are not that expensive if one knows where to source the cheap ones. If one can buy in bulk from a cheap dealer, then he can get it even cheaper.

It seems like mason jars are quite in trend right now especially for those who like to make coffee, juice, or shakes. So if one can somehow engrave the brand logo of his company into the jar, then he can actually give it as giveaways. Mason jars also do not really cost that much so they will not be such a big marketing expense for the company.

When it comes to tech giveaways, another type of giveaway that'll be really cool for most people would be a USB port hub. A USB port hub is very useful since it allows one to add more USB ports to his computer. They are actually quite cheap if one would buy in bulk or if one would buy the made in China ones.

Last on the list is a popsocket, which is quite like a phone ring that one will attach at the back of the phone. However, instead of a ring, it is literally a pop socket that one can stretch and put back anytime he wants. It is used for making the phone stand by itself and can be a great gift after it gets a printed logo at the back.

For those who are in business, it pays to try out something new from time to time. For freebies, do not always stick to the same stuff because people get sick of them. Try to give away some new stuff that can entice people such as the things mentioned above.
