Quality Vehicle Wraps & How Pokemon Can Play Into Them

By Rob Sutter

When it comes to the Pokemon franchise, I think I speak for everyone when I say that "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" are two of the most long-awaited games in the franchise. You can chalk this up to the series' popularity, which is rivaled only by other Nintendo IPs in Mario and Zelda. The Pokemon are creatures which are great in variety, which is probably the lightest way to put it. They are bountiful and could prove to be marketable upon quality vehicle wraps as well.

With multiple generations of Pokemon, someone who isn't a fan may wonder just how many creatures are known. To say the actual number is shocking would be an understatement, as there are 649 different creatures that fans of each generation can be made aware of. When the series started, it was only a mere 151 by comparison; even then, it was tough for me to remember each one and their types. It seems like younger fans are saddled with the commitment of knowing each one.

Seeing as how each type of Pokemon belongs to a certain generation, why not base various quality vehicle wraps on it? You could have certain trucks represent certain generations and have the creatures from said generations placed on them. I think that they could appeal to many groups who grew up with these games at certain points of the franchise's life. The wraps would also last for a long time, as is an important step for companies which specialize on the matter like JMR Graphics.

If you're curious as to how these wraps could be arranged, maybe you want to create ones that have the starter Pokemon of each generation on every wrap? This may seem like a simple concept but it can work, in theory. Maybe you want to separate them by type; fire Pokemon like Charmander, Magmar, and Cyndaquil could be choice names. I believe that fans could create wraps of these natures, as well as others, if creativity was the element that was most prevalent on the matter.

Quality vehicle wraps can be crafted but it has to be done with a number of elements in mind. Of course you have the physical quality but what about visuals that can appeal to many crowds? Considering that the new Pokemon titles are on the horizon, I think that crafting such items to suit the game would be ideal. It would be a perfect method to take up as far as marketing the game is concerned because not many other methods of widespread, physical marketing are as cost-effective.
